Part time Worship Pastor - Carol Stream, IL

Worship Leader Wanted

Crossroads Community Church, a growing (250) Harvest Bible Fellowship affiliate church in Carol Stream, Illinois is looking for a worship leader (part time). We are fully contemporary in style, but enjoy a hymn weekly (done in a contemporary manner). Services may include music, scripture, testimony, prayer, video clip, Bible preaching, and time for a response to the message. Band pieces include guitars, bass, keyboard, drums, violin, top-notch sound and video equipment.

The position will require:
1. Working with the Senior Pastor to plan the services.
2. Leading weekday evening rehearsal and a run through before the morning service.
3. Leading the worship service each Sunday morning.
4. Ability to build a growing team to lead worship ministry.
5. A desire to be a member of a growing congregation.
6. A vital walk with the Lord Jesus.
7. A desire to be stretched in leadership and faith (high expectation/high reward).

We will provide:

1. A heart that seeks to please the Lord Jesus Christ
2. The character to deal honestly with other ministers and volunteers
3. The musical ability to lead others in a growing music ministry
4. Skill to engage our congregation and lead in passionate, excellent, Christ- exalting worship.
5. A strong work ethic
6. Flexibility
7. Experience leading worship
